Herbalism For Birthworkers Series: Session 1 (Members Only)

This course is designed to give birth workers more confidence in natural therapies when

assisting new moms and their families. We will discuss benefits (or lack of) of herbs during each

trimester of pregnancy. 

Our aim is not to “treat” a diagnosis; instead, with herbalism, we want to

understand the condition that our client is dealing with (and on a deeper clinical level, we want to know

the cause of that condition).

We will discuss some of the most common conditions women experience

throughout the course of pregnancy, labor and delivery, and the postpartum period. Upon completion

of this course, you will feel confident in basic knowledge of how herbs can assist women as they

navigate through their gestational period and beyond.
